ha saputo essere capace di darsi una propria
identità grazie all'intraprendenza dei suoi
abitanti. Da paese prettamente agricolo fino a dopo
il dopoguerra, il paese è ora dotato di fabbriche
internazionalmente note, di imprese artigianali ben
radicate nel nord-est e di un sempre maggiore
interesse per nuovi insediamenti produttivi. |

Candiana (SE of Padova).
Lies on the Padova plain. Candiana was built on a crucial point of the Padova plain and just in the middle of Padova (26 Kms), Rovigo (30 Kms) and Chioggia (30 Kms). Though being a small town, during its history it proved to be able to grow sensibly and take its own identity thanks to the initiative of its inhabitants.
As far as the end of World War 2 the town was mainly an agricultural one, now-a-day it has developed into many international factories and artisan firms well settled in the North-Eastern part of Italy and a growing interest in productive settlements gives more and more employment and wellness.
